My System for Organizing Records
Over the last few weeks I’ve built a nice system to help with wrangling my collection. Here’s a quick list of some of the stuff I’m using:
- Discogs – For a public database
- Discography – For a better Discogs experience
- Siri Shortcuts – For automating on iOS
- Airtable – For preparing and storing meta
- Drafts 5 – For preparing and moving text
I’m documenting the automations and workflow for labeling, digitizing, posting, and digitALizing. Not sure yet whether this will be a series or blog posts, a video, or something else.
